Find quick answers to common questions about Catalight Academy

After successfully completing a course, your completion certificate will be created and awarded to you.

To access it, log in, hover over your name in the dropdown menu at the top of the page, and then select "My Certificates." From there, you can view, download, or print your certificate at any time.

To earn Continuing Education (CE) units for a course, you must complete all course requirements, including passing any required assessments and filling out the post-course survey.

After submitting the survey, your CE certificate will be created and awarded to you. To access it, log in, hover over your name in the dropdown menu at the top of the page, and then select "My Certificates." From there, you can view, download, or print your certificate at any time.

To participate in a capstone session, you must register for the session through Catalight Academy in your current course. Capstone sessions are only accessible through the Catalight Academy platform. When prompted to register, you can choose any available capstone date and time, but keep in mind that you must complete all required course units prior to attending your capstone session.

On the day of the event, log in to your Catalight Academy account, select your course, and select "Join" no earlier than 10 minutes before the scheduled start of the session. If you attempt to join a capstone session without having completed the required course units, you will be asked to leave and rejoin once you've met all the necessary requirements.

Accounts are automatically deactivated after 60 days of inactivity, but your certificates, receipts, and course progress are all preserved and available once your account is reactivated.

If your account has been deactivated, please contact us using the email address associated with your account, and we will assist you in reactivating it.

In-network learners, if you are newly registered, please note that our team reviews and manually activates all in-network accounts. This process may take up to 48 hours after receiving your registration. During that time you will see the same "Your account is inactive" pop-up. If you still cannot log in after 2 business days, please contact us.

After purchasing a course or program, you can find your receipt in your Catalight Academy account. To access it, log in, hover over your name in the dropdown menu at the top of the page, and select "My Payments." From there, select the download icon and you can view, download, or print your receipt.

Our fidelity submission system accepts files up to 50MB each, with a maximum of 10 files per upload. If you are unable to attach it, we recommend compressing it or submitting using a shareable link.

Tips for Compressing a file: If your video exceeds 50MB, right-click the file and select 'Compress.'

If the file size is still too large, use one of the methods below to reduce the video quality and file size.

For PC:

  • Open ClipChamp
    • ClipChamp comes pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 11
    • If you have Microsoft Windows 10 or earlier, you will have to download the free app from the Microsoft app store
  • Drag your video into the ClipChamp application
  • Select 'Export' in the upper right corner
  • Choose '480p' for quality of video
  • Select a location to save the file and click 'Save'

For Mac:

  • Open your video in QuickTime Player
    • QuickTime Player comes pre-installed on Macs
  • Click 'File' then 'Export As'
  • Choose '480p'
  • Select a location to save the file and click 'Save'

Follow the instructions below to access the Catalight Academy App on your mobile device:

  1. Download the TalentLMS App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).
  2. Open the app and enter the Domain: catalightacademy.org
  3. Tap NEXT to continue.
  4. Enter your Username or email and Password.
  5. Tap SIGN IN to access your account.

We do not offer refunds for purchased courses or programs. For more details, please see our refund policy.

Yes, you can re-purchase a course if you did not receive a passing grade. To do so, please contact support@catalightacademy.org, and we can provide you with the link to re-purchase.

Certificates expire after 3 years. You will receive a reminder before your certificate expires. To renew, you must complete our renewal process.

All Catalight Care Services practitioners must use credits to access courses. Please reach out to support@catalightacademy.org if you have additional questions regarding credits.

Credits are available only to Catalight Care Services Network members .

  • If you believe you are part of this network and you're receiving this message, please contact support@catalightacademy.org for assistance.
  • If you are not a network member, simply switch to the Credit Card payment option and enter your payment information there.

There are 2 ways a Catalight Care Services Network member could be missing credits:

  1. You have used all of your credits and it is time for us to reissue you new credits.
  2. You registered for an account without submitting the application form.

Please email support@catalightacademy.org so we can look into your reasoning and refill your credits.
